Travel information by train – Sadhaka guests
Book a train ticket to Argenton sur Creuse station from where we offer a pick-up service to the location. Arrival at 2:55pm and 5:57pm is 25 € p.p. for a 30-minute ride. Departures on Saturdays at 10.02 am. For other arrival and departure times we charge 15 € more. A regular taxi to Le Moulin costs about € 50.
You need to book your train ticket in advance! You can do this via www.bahn.com or www.sncf.com/en
As a rule, the earlier you book, the cheaper your ticket. But sometimes you are lucky enough to get a cheap last-minute. The prices vary widely, depending on when you book. From Paris it costs between 35 and 45 euros to get to Argenton sur Creuse.
On the day exactly 3 months before your journey, all train tickets of that date will be released. So April 4th the tickets will be released from July 4th. On that day, travel organizations book up all cheap places. This is also the time for you to buy your ticket cheaply!

To travel by plane, you can look for Paris, Limoges or Clermont Ferrand. Book a train ticket to Argenton sur Creuse station from where we offer a pick-up service to the location. Arrivals at Argenton sur Creuse at 2:55pm and 5:57pm are free of charge for a 30-minute ride. Departures on Mondays at 10.02 am. For other arrival and departure times we charge you 20 €). From Paris, the cost to get to Châteauroux ranges between 35 and 45 euros. In Paris, take the metro line 5 in the direction of Place d’Italie to Gare d’Austerlitz, which is the train station for trains to Argenton-sur-Crêuse.
Travel by bus
Second and cheaper option is to travel by https://www.blablacar.co.uk/ from several big cities in Europe to Chateauroux. From Paris to Chateauroux is f.e. just 10 euro! Then your transport to Argenton sur Creuse or even better Eguzon Chantome by train you find here: https://www.rome2rio.com/
In Europe you can also travel very cheaply (cheaper then train) with Flixbus, Megabus or Eurolines (bus). From northern Europe you go to Tours, from the south you go to Limoges, and then by train to Chateauroux.
Hitchhiking

What to bring with you
Try to bring with you: a flashlight when you planning on camping, your own towels, and a big towel or sari for the exercises on the yoga mat. There are bed sheets and covers on the beds, so you don’t have to bring them yourself if you are not camping with your own tent.
Clothes: Temperatures are usually somewhere be between 15 to 25 degrees Celsius. So bring some sweaters and trousers, T-shirts and short pants. Yoga clothes: comfortable jogging pants and long sleeve / T-shirt or sari.
There is a piano, 3 guitars, a djembee, a harmonium, a squeezebox and a variety of bells, but if you have other instruments you play or sheet music you want to use, please if you can bring it with you;-)
There is free WIFI for your use.
