Sadhaka Tantra Festival – Terms and Conditions

These Terms of Sale and Delivery apply between Sadhaka Retreat Center and you who buy or have bought tickets to the event happening at the Sadhaka Retreat Center. Please read carefully and then press the agree and subscribe button below.

Motivation & Intention : I am clear on my motivation and intention for joining the festival and I know how important it is to focus first and foremost on myself. The festival is providing me many opportunities to meet myself and to get to know my own inner landscape, my emotions and my perception of the people and world around me. Even if I connect with other people I will take responsibility for my own journey and prioritise coming back to myself before outsourcing experiences with and through other people. My inner wisdom and feelings matter and I am a valid part of the Sadhaka community.

​Consent : I will respect everybody’s boundaries, ensure that all my activities and interactions are respectful, and only involve people with explicit and enthusiastic consent. If I’m unsure if someone has understood my boundaries or is somehow unclear about what we have consented to, I will take responsibility for clarifying this before we continue.

Confidentiality : I agree to maintain confidentiality. This means not disclosing any individual’s identities, stories, and experiences. I am free to speak about my own experience. Everything said or done in the workshop rooms during the festival is confidential. I agree not to take photos or make audio or video recordings in the workshop or session rooms during the festival. If I take a picture outside the workshop spaces I ask for consent of the people in the picture.

Self-care : I understand that I am participating in a festival that is NOT a substitute for therapy, and I am responsible for participating in a way that I can manage (physically, psychologically, and emotionally).  I understand that everything in the festival is voluntary, and I am not compelled to do anything I feel uncomfortable with. I take full responsibility for my boundaries and do what I want. I can opt-out of any unwanted situation. I understand that I can change my mind, say No, stop what I’m doing, or leave the room or situation. I can constantly (as long as it’s done with consent) adjust any exercise or interaction to suit my needs better. I am solely responsible for having the interaction I wish to have during the festival, and I cannot claim compensation for something I did or exposed myself to.

​Safety : During the festival, I will not use any form of alcohol or drugs. I am also aware that tobacco smoking, e-cigarettes, and vaporizers are only permitted in the smoking area outside the office. I know that it is allowed to use medicine prescribed by a doctor in case of any illness, allergy, psychiatric treatment, physical impairment, pregnancy, recent surgery, or medication that may harm my participation or the safety of other people. I will inform the workshop leader and adjust my participation according to my health.

Consent to use facial image material : I understand that there will be a photographer present at the festival exclusively for promotional purposes related to Sadhaka. The photographer is experienced in photographing sensitive events and will not be present during workshops where nudity is involved, ensuring my privacy during those sessions. If I do not wish to be recognizable in any photos used by Sadhaka, I will inform the photographer at the beginning of the festival, she will take a potrait of me helping her to exclude you from pictures.

Support : I will ask for help if I need support and I will express myself as clearly as possible in that case. If I feel the need I will make use of the support team that is available throughout the festival like the Love Angels for emotional support or the management team for practical advice. If I have concerns or feedback I will go directly to the organisers Janie & Fredrik or Chandra & Wim.

Mobile phones : I understand that during the festival I will do my best to let go of my mobile phone. I will only use electronic devices in the designated area outside the office, but not in other festival workshop areas. If I need to make a phone call I will walk up the road or find a quite area to avoid disturbing others.

Discharge : In consideration for your participation in Sadhaka Tantra Festival, you as participant do hereby release and discharge Sadhaka Tantra Festival & Sadhaka Retreat Center and its organizers, teachers, workshop leaders, musicians, and staff jointly and severally from all actions, causes of actions, claims, and demands for, upon or because of any damage, loss or injury, which hereafter may be sustained by participating in the Sadhaka Tantra Festival.
