Volunteer at Sadhaka
Join our volunteer team in summer 2026 for a stay of 2 to 2.5 weeks, between 27 June and 5 September 2026.
As a volunteer, you support the Tantra, Dance and Art retreat weeks at the Sadhaka centre by contributing behind the scenes to daily community life. Activities may include cleaning shared spaces, helping prepare meals, baking bread, doing shopping, gardening, DIY projects and other practical tasks — depending on your skills and interests.
You will be part of a team of approximately 14 to 18 volunteers. Each volunteer has a clear schedule of around 5 hours per day.
Alongside your volunteer hours, you are welcome to attend a daily yoga or tantra class, take part in evening activities, and enjoy space for co-creation within the team.
New possibilities in 2026
1. 27 June – 13 July
We welcome around 12 volunteers to help prepare the centre for the start of the summer retreat season. Together, we set up the festival tent, place approximately 15 tents, arrange the terrace furniture, prepare rooms and thoroughly clean the spaces to begin the season fresh and grounded.
There is a daily Tantra yoga class to join, as well as space for co-creation. This will be a cosy, connective and unique experience. You can extend your stay upto the 20th July.
2. Summer Volunteer Team 2026
Be part of our volunteer community in summer 2026 for a stay of 2 to 2.5 weeks, between Friday 10 July and Saturday 29 August.

In addition, you can attend a daily yoga or tantra class, join evening activities, and engage in co-creation within the team.
3. 29 August – 5 September
This is a special closing week. We welcome 6 volunteers to help bring the centre back into its winter-ready state by taking down tents, doing thorough cleaning, and storing furniture and materials.
There is a daily Tantra yoga class to attend, as well as space for co-creation. It will be a warm, connective and meaningful way to close the summer season.

We offer a financial volunteer compensation.
In all five cases: your stay on the campsite (own tent or campervan preferably, or our pop up tents), all meals and drinks, and participation in daily workshops and classes are included.
My two weeks here were some of the best of my life 🙂 that’s the best way to sum up my time there. The house and space around it is a haven, it’s almost like a micro-country, hidden away from the rest of the world and of “normal life”.
Volunteer profile
The volunteers are healthy, enthusiastic and independent people aged 23 to 60 who find it a challenge to receive groups of people in a hospitable way. 7 days a week you assist in taking care of the meals for the course groups and ensure that the place remains neat and clean. In addition, there is the possibility to participate in Yoga classes. The holiday atmosphere, nature, the swimming pond and the beautiful venue of Le Moulin make a working holiday at Sadhaka both inspiring and nourishing.
What do we offer?
An inspiring vibrant surrounding, a transformative space and intens time where people grow, share and be completely themselves. Your stay is intirely free. This means that meals are free and that you stay at the campsite in your own tent or caravan. (we have a few pop up tents to borrow). You do volunteer work 5 hours a day. There is a daily possibility to participate in a 2 hour morning or afternoon yoga class. You can also participate in the evening activities.
It is also possible to rent a Sadhaka tent or caravan ( 175 € bedlinen included). Unfortunately, we cannot offer a travel allowance, but we can mediate in the search for a hitch hike.

How volunteers experienced their stay at sadhaka
Its hard putting into words just how valuable and profound my two weeks with Wim and Chandra were. It was life changing and dare I say one of the greatest experiences of my life. I learnt many lessons from Wim and Chandra and I’m very grateful to both of them for everything they taught me especially for introducing me to tantra. I never thought i’d feel so close to so many other people, they have all showered me with so much love. thank you guys! Omar, april 2019
What a magical home in the middle of France, filled with even more magical spiritual family!Coming here was quite a lucky coincidence and it turned out to be my best workaway experience so far. There was delicious food, abundant nature, a great sense of community, dancing, music, spirituality and much more. But mostly there was love in everything. Thank you so much <3 Joe 2023
I can’t speak highly enough of the incredible environment that Chandra and Wim offer here – I met people that I got to know better in two weeks than I would have done in two years back at home. I had SO much fun, experienced so much love and non-judgement and feel so lucky to have contributed to the re-creation of a space where others will be able to continue their own journeys. I’m so grateful for the time I spent here and I hope to go back in the future.
If this website has caught your eye and you feel in any way drawn to this place and what Chandra and Wim are offering, stop thinking and just GO! You will not regret it 🙂 Chloe, april 2019
I really enjoyed taking an alternative vacation and making a commitment to the whole. It is well organized at Le Moulin, it runs smoothly and every volunteer has his / her own duties. Chandra and Wim have been giving these courses for more than 10 years and that is reflected in everything. The combination of course and work (5 hours a day) is great. A nice place, nice atmosphere and nice people. I will definitely come back again.
