Thanks for signing up as a member of our volunteer team at the Sadhaka center this summer. We are happy to welcome you and looking forward to an inspiring time together!<\/p>\n

As a full member of the summer team you create a pleasant stay for our guests. 7 days a week you will assist in a team in taking care of the meals for the retreats and ensure the buildings stay neat and clean in a shift of 5 hours a day.<\/p>\n

We love a fair energy exchange! We offer free stay at the camp site, high standard vegetarian meals, a daily workshop to attend (5 days a week), evening activities, free use of sauna and possibilities for co-creation.<\/p>\n

1. Description<\/strong><\/div>\n
1.1 The volunteer will help the organization performing tasks like the following:<\/div>\n
– The setup, maintaining and clearing of breakfast, lunch, diner.<\/div>\n
– Cleaning and dish washing<\/div>\n
– Administration task<\/div>\n
– DIY<\/div>\n
The dividing of tasks is made in consultation with the team taking into account all wishes, personal qualities and preferences and are chosen from week to week. We ask collaboration, self-efficacy and responsibility.<\/div>\n
1.2 The parties may modify the work in consultation.<\/div>\n
1.3 Final responsibility lies with the team coordinator or Chandra Benjamins and Wim Molinello.<\/div>\n
1.4 An already integrated volunteer helps you on the first 2 days with work instructions.<\/div>\n
1.5 The work is for 5 hours a day 7 days a week.<\/div>\n
1.6 Sadhaka offers at least one daily workshop of 2 hours 5 days a week to join for free.<\/div>\n
1.7 Until 10 am there is silence. For functional communication team members talk silently in the kitchen. From 11.30 pm on there is silence on the campsite and in and around the buildings.<\/div>\n
1.7 No alcohol use before or during your shift. Also in your own free time you are member of Sadhaka, minimize your alcohol consumption in the evenings to not more than one or two glasses. Alcoholic drinks are available at a small charge, own consumption is not allowed.<\/div>\n

2. Expenses<\/strong><\/div>\n
2.1 The volunteer receives no monetary reward for the work done by him\/her.<\/div>\n
2.2 The volunteer stays on the camp site, free board and lodging and participation in workshops.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
3. Insurance and accidents<\/strong><\/div>\n
3.1 The organization has no insurance on behalf of the volunteer.<\/div>\n
3.2 Sadhaka is not liable for the personal consequences of any illness or accident occurred during the stay. The volunteer has a health and risk insurance. Travel insurance may serve this purpose.<\/div>\n
3.3 The volunteer should do a deposit of 75 \u20ac to be transfered to the PAY account of Sadhaka, find link blow, with as only reference if asked: your lastname-V2026. This deposit you get back at the end of the voluntary period in cash at the office, so don\u2019t forget!. It serves as a deposit and for registration as a member of the organization, which Sadhaka is insured against any damage caused by you in \/ on \/ around the building. When cancelling before or during your stay, the deposit will not be transferred but noted as a cancellation fee. By signing you agree to this policy.<\/div>\n
3.3 The organization does not provide travel expenses. On our online travel forum you can make travel arrangements with other participants and we will open a Whatsapp group to contact other volunteers.<\/div>\n

4. Foreclosure<\/strong><\/div>\n
4.1 In case of cancelling due to illness, etc., the volunteer asap contacts the organization by email or whatsapp. In case of cancelling or early termination during the stay: The deposit will not be refunded but charged as a cancellation fee. However, if the volunteer can offer a good replacement for his \/ her voluntary work, then the deposit will be refunded.<\/div>\n

5. Nature of the agreement<\/strong><\/div>\n
5.1 This agreement is not a contract of employment within the meaning of the Civil Code.<\/div>\n
5.2 The volunteer is aware of the fact that, on the basis of this contract is not insured for the consequences of illness, disability and unemployment.<\/div>\n
5.3 The relationship between the organization and the volunteer is not an employment relationship within the meaning of the Extraordinary Decree on Labour.<\/div>\n

6. Terms and resolutive conditions<\/strong><\/div>\n
6.1 The contract is concluded for a certain time period.
\n6.2 The parties may terminate the contract by mutual agreement in the following ways:
\n6.3 Sadhaka can for the start of work and during the voluntary period, decide to terminate the agreement, because of cancelling of the course (which consequently there is no work). The deposit is then refunded to you. If during the course(s) problems occur in co-operation \/ performance of the work Sadhaka may decide on an early termination of the agreed period. There will be sought in each case to a satisfactory solution for cost of the remaining stay and the deposit.<\/div>\n
6.4\u00a0 Sent a message to Chandra ASAP in Whatsapp at +31651343572 (Netherlands) if you have to cancel. The agreement is terminated after mutual consultation and stating reasons. The deposit will be retained as a cancellation fee.<\/div>\n

7. Guests at Sadhaka<\/strong><\/div>\n
7.1 Friends and family of team members can stay at Sadhaka’s centre on the basis of three packages:<\/div>\n
1. Independent stay on the camping area. \u20ac 20 – for a tent and \u20ac 25, – per day per caravan.<\/div>\n
2. Full board arrangement at Sadhaka. The host eats with the group at a 25% discount on the full board package price incl. participation in the sun salutation before breakfast and evening activities. Arrival date preferably equal with participants. Stay in a room, Sadhaka tent or caravan is also possible, see prices on the website.<\/div>\n
* Stay in the accommodation of the relevant team has no impact on the full board price.<\/div>\n
3. As a participant in a course. There is no discount on the course fee for guests of team members.<\/div>\n
