Everyone has an artist

Creation is like an exciting journey of discovery, which can be expressed with different materials and techniques.

In 2000 I graduated from the School of the Arts in Kampen as an image teacher, field of painting. Since then I have taken several courses in the field of sculpture, stained glass and mosaic. I have worked as a tour leader, educational assistant, teacher of visual arts and have provided courses and lectures in art history and various art disciplines. Every summer in France, I have been taking care of art weeks in various art disciplines (painting, sculpting, modelling, mosaic, stained glass and jewellery) every summer in France. In the winter months I like to travel and work on visual work in my studio.
From my artist and visual teaching I like to guide you to transform the stream of ideas that bubble up under the French sun into your own expression and visual language.

A student talks about Patricia

In the summer of 2015, after a wonderful and productive Art Week at Sadhaka, I went home with a super satisfied feeling and a few landscapes that I was really satisfied with. The atmosphere in the group was fine, the studio and the resources were spacious and a lot. The guidance of Patricia and her assistant Gaby was particularly stimulating.
Patricia herself has a lot of experience in the visual arts, both in the flat surface and with spatial work. From her professional knowledge and her visual insight, she can convey a large number of techniques, and above all she can help people to develop and shape their ideas. She observes what you do, gives her observations clearly and then gives suggestions for how it might proceed. She is someone who gives the right clue at the right time and then feels exactly what someone can understand and needs to rise just above himself.
Her warm-ups at the opening day are playful, refreshing, break through the fixed thinking frameworks and are bound for the group. Furthermore, there is an optimal freedom for everyone to follow his heart in the visual world. Learning under Patricia’s leadership is a beneficial growth.
