What is tantra?

Tantra is a relatively modern concept. However, it is based on ancient Indian rituals. Tantra is focused on self-realization, and achieving enlightenment in the experience of cosmic unity. When you participate in a workshop in the field of tantra, for example tantra yoga, meditation or massage, you focus entirely on your own spiritual liberation, expansion, self-realization and enlightenment. Within the tantra there are no taboos. The tantra instructor in the Netherlands will also give his or her own addition to the concept, and you can experience it again in a completely different way. During our courses we want to teach you to be completely free and yourself. Be awake, aware, present and in the here and now.

If you want to practice tantra in the Netherlands at Sadhaka, you can visit our beautiful location in Drenthe. Seagull bog is a quiet place in the Netherlands where tantra yoga weekends with an extra holiday tone take place every year. It is an atmospheric, comfortable group accommodation where you can be completely yourself. There is room for 30 people at the location. We want all students to feel welcome, safe and at home. Having a nice dinner together and talking around the fire is really part of this. And of course there is also enough space to perform tantra yoga, massages and more!
