Stained glass art

Discover the surprising effect of light and colour of stained glass. In a week you will create a window according to your own design and learn all the basic technical skills.

It is discussed making a good design, cutting paper templates, cutting and grinding glass, cutting lead, staining the glass and finally soldering.

History of stained glass art

The stained glass art has a long tradition and is originally used in churches and cathedrals. The stained glass technology also lends itself to modern applications and designs in your own home. Discover the surprising effect of light and colour of stained glass. In this course you will learn the basic technical skills of the stained glass in a week. But in addition to the craft part, attention is also paid to the design.

Weekly format

The first days are all about creating a good stained glass design, practicing with glass cutting and cutting the templates. The last few days you are making the glass to measure and staining the glass. Finally, you solder the workpiece and it is prepared to be hung.

You can take the course in the Sadhaka Combiweeks Yoga and Creative and Coastal Weeks.
