Community for conscious and open minded people

Co-living and Co-creation project
We are ready for the next step: creating space for a small settelment of committed community members on the property of the Sadhaka Retreat center (6 to 10 people).
Would you like to live together for a longer period of time in a conscious environment? Do you want to live in harmony with yourself, the people around you and nature? Be part of SSadhaka growing towards being a Conscious Community, a family of like-minded people where you can come home, land, connect, exchange and grow with us.
A place to Be…
A unique stay with a daily shared practice (f.e. yoga, meditation and tantra, depending the qualities of the people). In a unique time from half of April to the end of June 2024 , travelers from all over the world are welcome to land on the soft ground of Le Moulin in central France. A safe haven in which you can rest and refresh yourself with the warmth of a conscious community of people. With attention to each other, the earth and the source.
You are never alone, that is the benefit of communities…
It gives an energy boost to be surrounded by a lovely family that supports, nourishes and grounds you. If you need anything, someone is always there for you.
Sadhaka community is our conscious experiment mirroring similar communities around the world. An association and co-living project open to residents and volunteers, and operating on the values of sharing, respect, integration, consciousness, love and sustainability.
Our vision is to build a community of conscious changemakers, and anyone on a path of healing or growth. The co-creation of a holistic and sustainable path to live and cultivate happiness, peace, and harmony with nature and each other. Live life like you are already in heaven.
The land and buildings provides the venue for retreats every July and August since 2012. Its is now ready the rest of the year as community hub for those who choose to relocate here. A safe-haven dedicated to ethically, environmentally, and socially responsible living, For those who may have roamed the world in the past but now yearn for harmony and small scale community we have created a nomad oasis (with fiber-optic internet connection).
Living as yesterday with the technology of tomorrow.
What are the activities in this community?
Together we form a team of 5 to 12 loving/curious people that have dedicated their lives to personal growth and the path of consciousness.
We implement this in the daily live and the things we do.
6 days a week we commit ourselves to 3 hours of community work, such as cooking, cleaning, gardening, maintenance, painting, etc.
Initiator Wim Molinello, himself a yoga and tantra teacher, gives a few lessons every week when he is there. There is a daily shared yoga, meditation and tantra practice.
What are the activities in this community as volunteer? (It can change depending the needs and qualities of the people present).
- – Co-creation: morning practice with our sadhana: meditation / yoga / tai chi, etc. Deliver classes where you share your knowledge and professional skills in areas consistent with the community’s philosophy, such as health, spirituality and self-sufficiency.
- – Breakfast in silence until 9.30 am.
- – You spend 3 hours a day 6 days a week on your karma yoga, like gardening, cleaning, cooking etc. (you have to do the dishes and cook and do the laundry at home too 😉
- – We have a shared lunch and/or diner together.
- – You have some free time in the afternoon to share, relax etc. or you have a karma yoga shift in the afternoon f.e. preparing dinner and your free time in the morning.
- – Every day we have a sharing during dinner
- – Evening program based on co-creation, meditation, sports, tantra, yoga, sauna, men/women sharing.Besides the sharings and Karma yoga nothing mentioned above is obligatory.
Don’t ask yourself what you are going to get, ask yourself what you are able to give. Everyone can contribute, share his or her qualities, and in this way we co-create and inspire each other, we grow together.
Setteling in
How do you get involved, what are our investments (time commitment and financial) and what are future possibilities?
We created some conscious steps in order te have a strong fundament for harmonieus and bountiful co-living.
3 phases:
Step 1: Volunteer
A time to get to know each other. Contribution: 20 € / day all inclusive and stay in a room. Upcomming period is between 15th of April to 24th of June 2024. This is an important time. After 4 weeks as volunteer you can opt for a debutant position.
Step 2: Debutant
Settle on the land with your own removable housing (campervan/caravan/yurt). 12,50 € / day* and a 50€ yearly association fee. After 3 months (consecutive days or in several shorter stays) you can opt for a nomad resident status. For becomming a Nomad resident you pass a comité, the community decides if you suit in well.
Step 3: Nomad resident
With the nomad resident status you can call Moulin D’Orsennes your (1rst or 2nd) home. You are a committed member of the community, and you can stay whenever you like and how long you like. For becoming a nomad resident, you have stayed 4 weeks minimum as volunteer and 3 months minimum as debutant. It needs approuval of all other residents.
Contribution: 5 € / day* (life time) and a 50 € yearly association fee. Building tiny houses together for nomad residents on the land becomes an option.
*Contribution for debutants and nomad residents includes food from the garden and 3 hours a day karma yoga community work. It excludes food from the shop. One of the community aims is to eat from the garden mainly.
Community tasks include:
– Maintaining a vegetable garden aiming for fully self support food supply.
– Family sharings to practice openhearted non-violent truthfull communication, personal growth and conscious relating. (check the commitments here).
Why community?
Based on the Yoga philosophy: “We are One” we connect with each other, at a time when it is more needed than ever. To help each other remember, to connect with ourselves, to be the mirror for the other one by just being you, to find our way home and reconnect with source. A community can be a catalizer for innner and collective processes.
No expectations, no judgments, no separation. Just be completely yourself, be free! With respect for everyone.
And yes, it can be with times intense too! We live together according to 3 basic principles:
Be loving to yourself
Be loving to the people around you
Be loving to your surroundings

About your stay
As we mentioned before, we can keep prices low so more people can benefit from this community experience, even if your budget is small.
You sleep in a room that is available at that time. Options are: dormitory, double room and caravans, own tent or camper. Single room optional with extra charge.
With your fee we keep the community out of costs so that it can continue to support itself. For your consideration: Your stay at Le Moulin is 20 euros per day in use/costs, reflected in the costs of organisation, facilitation, maintenance of the buildings, sustainability and landscaping.
After inscription you pay 50 € by bank transfer for your reservation, which makes you member of our association.
If you are a member of Workaway, sign up via this site and you will receive a one week free stay!

Who is this community for?
– Conscious people who want to escape the hectic modern world and get in touch deeply with people with a similar mindset and lifestyle close to nature and themselves.
– Travelers who want to settle down, stay in 1 place for a longer period.
– Spiritual seekers interested in yoga, meditation, healing, tantra, healthy food etc
– All who are interested in community life and feel Sadhaka could be their place to settle down.
– People who want to make a place more beautiful with their presence with a voluntary contribution in the form of a donation and hands on input.
– People who want to learn how to become self-sufficient. And there is so much to do here that you will learn many new skills. (for example, did you know that the owner is also a beekeeper?)
– Or if you just want to take a long sabbatical from work and relax and just be surrounded by a bunch of loving and supportive people.
Do’s & Don’ts
Here are some things to leave at home or think about regarding others:
Do’s
– There are guitars and djembes, but if you have (other) instruments that you play, please bring them along to jam around the fire and sing mantras ;-).
– Bring white clothes for meditation, comfortable clothes for yoga and tantra practice, warm clothes because the nights are cold, warm socks or indoor slippers make it comfortable, shower slippers, own towels, organic shampoos.
– You stay in a shared room and bed linen is provided for volunteers.
– We love to exchange! So feel inspired to bring in all your skills, knowledge and experiences that help the community grow in awareness. The program will be full of fun and games that can only be explained by experience.
– There is stable fast WIFI connection. Ideal for digital nomads. There is no phone signal on the domain (300 meters away), you will find the best connection in the community with the people around you ;-).
– There is an art atelier for debutants and nomad residents.
– There is silence until 9:30 in the morning. A nice way to start your day calmly and with yourself.
Do not’s for volunteers
– We are a place for personal growth. That’s why we don’t want alcohol or drugs on our property/in your body. We strive for a natural high <3 so also no use of plant medicine. Please find another place if you can’t find yourself in this choice. Come if you are looking for a clean and healthy place to be.
– You are in a mental good health and can carry yourself emotionally.
– No pets on the property. Our 2 cats, 10 chickens and 3 pigeons love the tranquility of their own territory.
