Create your own program
Unique! Create your own course program and choose: drawing and painting, sculpting, modelling, watercolouring, mosaic, lino printing, stained glass and jewelry making.
Let your creativity flow
Being busy gives you relaxation and fun! Unique in this artistic week is that you compose the program yourself. You can work with various forms of expression in the visual arts such as watercolouring, painting with acrylic paint and oil paint, drawing with pastel rice and charcoal, mosaic making, sculpture in stone, stained glass, jewelry making and modelling with clay.
Every day something different, mixed techniques, or deepening search in one technique and material, it is all possible! The individual guidance and the small group size (4 – 15 people) make it possible to make a creative development at every level -beginners and advanced – and to achieve a satisfactory result.
Creativity is an experience, an experience
In this course week, your rational brain is parked on the waterfront and your creative brain gets all the space to fantasize, associate and experiment freely with its imagination and without judgment. With creative exercises, the lesson is started together every morning to put our artistic brain to work and to loosen ourselves.
To create, we draw on our inner source
In the course you will look for inspiration by exploring what intrigues and interests you. Your tools are your senses: your sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch. Originality comes from within. We dive into the source of our experiences and through our imagination and imagination we express them in shapes, colours and images

Art is born into attention
Inner peace is an important breeding ground for creativity. During the entire course week there is silence until 10 am. There is a daily morning meditation with a series of energetic yoga exercises (optional). These help you to increase your concentration, strengthen your connection with your inner self and bring out what is subconscious in your life, in order to come to new creative insights.

I never knew that Art Week with all that goes with it would be such a fantastic week. We even booked for another week. Harm
I came to make room in my head again and become freer in my painting. And there I am with an abstract work and a free head… Fantastic. Nice group. I’ve learned a lot. Diana

Course dates
Weekly format
The evening of arrival is one of getting acquainted with each other. A short introduction will be made about the course week. The first morning starts with a comprehensive introduction of the different art disciplines, after which you make an (individual) choice with which you want to start. The rest of the 1st course day you can attend instructions and start with the first research and sketch phase. In the following days, the program begins daily in silence with the sun saluting, a yoga cycle to wake up with (free participation). After breakfast follows a short creative warm up exercise with the group. Every morning and afternoon there is 2 1/2 hours of visual guidance in whatever art discipline you want. The teacher will visit you to give directions and guide your visual process. In between, work discussions take place, because you can learn a lot from each other. Outside of course hours you can spend unlimited hours in the art studio. You are not obliged to make your own layout. Halfway through the week there is an afternoon off for your own interpretation. The week ends festively with an exhibition of the work made. The next morning after breakfast, everyone leaves home (or stays for another week).
